anyone local running T5 lighting?

i'm shopping for lighting for a 58, and am pretty sure i'm going to run T5s. anyone local have any experience with them?

I am running a Aquactinics HO T5 with 5 bulbs each bulb has its own reflector and is sitting directly on top of the tank The tank is a 40 gallon breeder. The tank is SPS except for two LPS everything is growing and has good color. This hood should work just fine for your tank (No I am not selling ). What else would you like to know.

so you're running 5 39w bulbs? i plan to stay mostly zoos and LPS when i swap my 29 over to the 58. i was actually thinking of going with a 4 bulb set up, but i'd like the option of upgrading if i get into SPS

Yes they are 39 watts each.

The hood I have has two switches. one switch will light 2 lamps the other switch will light the other 3. It also comes with a fan that is on the 3 lamp switch and an acrylic shield. So you may be able to just run 3 of them and when you upgrade then run all 5.

I'm running 6 - 54 Watt 48'' over my 90. I really like them. I used 4 10K light and two 460n blues. They are one 3 Workhorse 5's and two switches. I bought the whole setup off of ebay. I wanted something to keep SPS's without the heat. Working pretty good so far.
