Anyone looking for a chambered nautilus?

I don't keep cephs, but I thought I would just post down here. If anyone is looking for a chambered nautilus, they have had one at Jeff's Exotic Fish for a couple of weeks now. They are keeping it in a normal stock tank with no lighting and standard "reef" temps (i.e. the same temps they run for acros, etc).

I have no idea how much they are asking for him - he seems to be somewhat overlooked. He is definitely aware, even during the day. My daughter poked his shell (he was up at the surface), and he immediately scooted back to the far side of the tank.

He is pretty decent size - I would guess that his shell is about 5" diameter.

If only:

I lived in California,
I had a tank large enough and empty enough,
I hadn't tried to keep one unsuccessfully a few years ago, before I knew better,
I could provide the right environment to give it a chance to live (e.g. cooler water, etc)

and finally,

If I thought it might live. They just don't do well in home aquariums. Someday, maybe someone will figure out the secret to keeping them and even tank breeding them, and then I'll try again. They are truly incredible creatures who deserve better than I can offer them at this time. Oh, how I wish, though...

They probably would pose no threat to coral, but could potential be hurt by them. They would also be potential reef wreckers since they travel verywhere backwards and are prone to bump into things. They could eat ornamental shrimp as well. Unless you ar prepared to keep them in a species tank with a relatively low temp, etc., I wouldn't do it. They are just too beautiful to not treat them right.
