Anyone looking for a NatuReef Denitrafier?

You gotta love the sprinkler system controller and the hand written model/serial numbers. Looks pretty complicated compared to some of the newer sulfer units.

Might be a dumb comment...but...wouldnt it be much easier and simpler to control nitrates by proper feeding, correct sized skimmer and water changes? You know, prevent the problem in the 1st place.

Very good point... however, not all of those are always possible. At least for myself, the feeding part isn't. I have a fish that pretty much demands food at least twice a day or he starts to "pick". Also, they don't have a very good track record, so I don't want to starve him. Since I've added him, my nitrates have crept up to around 35-40ppm, and in an SPS dominant tank, that's not a good number. I added a Midwest Aquatics sulfer denitrator a few weeks ago and they are slowly coming down now. I'm not certain that he's the only reason they've crept up, I also changed my skimmer out from an MR2 to a DAS EX-3 around the same time, so that could be a contributing factor as well I guess.

I was just curious if someone had experience with it. I am looking for one for my current set up. I checked the company's website and those thing are expensive and it did seem like a good deal.
