Anyone make a 55 gallon shallow?

I'm in an apartment and I'm limited to a 55 gallon tank. I'd really like a 48" x 16" x 16". Do you know of anyone who manufactures something similar in dimensions to this? Custom is too expensive

I think a 40 long might be the closest you'll get without going custom.

I vaguely remember someone saying that a certain manufacturer will cut down the height of their tanks, say a 75 gallon 48 x 18 x 20 to a 48 x 18 x 15 or something like that. Anyone have experience with this?

Make it yourself. That's what I did.

I have a 65g shallow reef tank that is 4'x2'x14". A glass company cuts the glass and with a few inexpensive clamps and some good silicone and a little help you can do it. If you what to try, send me a pm and I'll help with all the build tips I can.

ADA cube garden 120 F? Not quite as much volume but a nicer aspect ratio.

Glass cages makes several sizes of heights in that range but I do not know anything about them. Maybe someone here has experience with them.

Deep Blue makes a 48x24x12. I just actually built an acrylic one for around $350. I believe theirs sells for between $550 and ~$700.

I actually just coincidentally found a tank with these exact dimensions. It's acrylic though, I was hoping for glass. But I think I can make it work.
