Anyone not use a holder for their streams?

I am considering a 6100 behind my rock structure to keep the flow strong and the detritus moving. I have two megaflows in the tank and was thinking about placing the 6100 inbetween them near the bottom, perhaps wedged between rock and the glass. Is this possible? I haven't plugged one in yet to see how powerful they are and if they would work themselves loose over time or what.

They do need regular maintanence so don't put it somewhere you can''t easily retrieve it for cleaning. The flow loses quite a bit of effectiveness from obstacles so I don't think this is an efficient use of a Stream pump. The wavebox would accomplish this effect as the wave motion lifts and suspennds detritus for the pumps to remove.
