Anyone running 400W Radiums on their SPS tank?

Does anyone know how a 400W DE on a HQI ballast compares. I don't see an option for this is Sanjay's Reef Lighting Page?

sunny...your feelings about the growth from xm 10k's is why i just switched from ReefLux 12k's, lol....now you're switching out?
...of course i also have a tank full of frags i want to grow out and with 250's on the sides and 1-400W in the middle i am at my limit for heat(without forking out $750 for a 1/2h.p. chiller

Since your tank is has many small frags you are much better off with the 10K XM's. You will definitely see more growth form the XM's over the reeflux, provided that all you water parameters are in place of course.
I ordered the 400W M59 Pro Series along with 20K XM's and they should be here friday. I will post my thoughts and pics as soon as I install them.

not bad to try for $270 + shipping 
if and when i get a chiller, i personally would also switch....most likely to no actinics and 3-400W Radium's on HQI ballasts
-imo, they are much brighter to the eye

I'm running 400 watt radium in an hqi ballast with two small actinic vho bulbs. The color seemed lighten (less blue ) in six months. Growth was not that great. I'm wondering if Iwasaki makes a 15k in 400 watt se bulb. In my last tank I ran some Iwasakis in the middle for peak photo period and the growth was outstanding. They were a bit yellow (6500k) So to get a bit more growth I was thinking of putting them on. Any thoughts?

I am currently using the Radium 400 on a Galaxy ballast over my 40g, and I will have a hard time trying anything else at this point. I love it. I could write a big block of text but I think this will do.
