anyone runnning a Eheim Compact+ Pump 5000

About to upgrade my mag 9.5 to the Eheim Compact+ Pump 5000. reason being is that the mag 9.5 has been working great for the past 2 1/2 years but my reactors arnt getting much movement lately. so ive done a little research and i feel that the Eheim Compact+ Pump 5000 would suit me best. i have a 90g rr tank with a 20g sump. i get pretty good turn over rate but my reactors (carbon, GFO, Bio pellets) kind of take the short end of the stick. do you think this extra amount of gph would make a difference over the mag 9.5? my ears are open. thank you for your time.

I have a 3000 running my skimmer its kinda loud and I wish I would have bought something better

I have the Eheim 2000 Compact+ and I love it. It is dead silent and has been running perfectly for me in the year that I have had it.

I have an Eheim compact+ 5000 on my tank and I don't find it particularly loud, tbh I don't really notice it. It's the second pump, the first failed after 4 or 5 years (the rotor had some type of corrosion/reaction that made it swell up).

I don't know how much water you pump through your sump but for a normal return the next smaller model might be enough, I have the 5000 on a 250g tank.
