Anyone seen the new Koralia Evolution 750 Powerhead?

i am waiting for my income tax return to get vortech mp40 to repllace my k3s . thanks for the heads up , i think i am going to change my mind and go with these and a wavemaker instead . save a couple hundred dollars . really thanks again i do like my k3s they are very reliable . i would have no problem trying any of there products . i almost bought the low voltage controllable k3s but balked at them when i saw the price of the wavemaker .

ditto. I was looking at the hydor 2-way controller my self. With this powerhead I can control it with my reefkeeper. Save myself $250.

robot2222, what size tank are you using your k3s on? I have an mp10 on my 48" tank and it isn't quite enough. I'm hoping the Evo 750 is not too big for the 1/3 side of the tank opposite side of the vortech.

Awesome, I was going to buy another MP10 for my 28G Nanocube. I can get two of these and run them of the supied JBJ wavemaker.

a 72 bowfront , i know it is not a nano , but i love looking in this forum. not sure if my next tank is going to be a 120 or a nano.i don't want 2 show tanks.

Just found out the new Nano 240 and Nano 425 are also safe on timers.

425 gph is more like what I need.

Got the EVO750 yesterday and put it in my tank and plugged it in to the RK1's on/off timer. When it switches on it barely makes a sound and I can't hear it unless my skimmer is turned off.

The thing is big/bulky and the only other complaint is I think it's not pushing the 750 gph they claim. It just doesn't quite push suspended debris halfway across my 48" tank.

If I can just find it; I saved a link on this forum that shows a site where the sizes of the new Evo line pumps are compared. Someone here already offered to buy this 750 if it's not right for me. This pump gets into the corner where it's needed and just where I wanted. I haven't decided if the 1050 would be better for me.

They is something unexpected I noticed that actually is a plus is its impeller spins one way for an "on" cycle, then the opposite rotation the next cycle. In other words it pushes water, then next time, sucks water. For me this is just more random water movement. :p
