Anyone seen this? RBTA MIA!!

FWIW I have a Condy on one side and 2 RBTAs on the other (185 g / 250W MH) They don't seem to bother one another, but I do notice the Condy is less extended since the RBTAs came into the picture.

So.. you cant have mulitple nem in a tank?? They are stationary in the tank (as long as the RBTA found his happy spot), condy on the back left of tank, rock flower in the middle 1/2 in a cave, RBTA right middle.
They don't have to touch to harm each other. Do a search for "allelopathy" - it's the way that anemones and corals have to keep others from getting too close. In the ocean the effect is local, but in a closed system like an aquarium, the effect is system-wide.

I did the same thing and had a LTA a RBTA and a condy in the same tank. poof in a matter of days after I added the condy all three were dead and my clown almost died to. you can keep multiple BTAs in the same system though and now thats what I do.

I've read that BTAs and LTAs do not coexist well in the same tank so that's probably where the issue came from. My Condy and RBTAs have been coexisting for many months when I added an LTA, the LTA crashed. It also was moving as far away from the BTA as it could get (FWIW).

Since my RBTA came out of hiding it hasnt moved, all 3 of my nems are fully extended. The RBTA even has all his tentacles are bubbled up!
