Anyone selling frags?

Just wondering if anyone is fragging their leathers and or mushrooms(rics or discomas)? Im also looking for a piece of kenya as well.

I will be fragging my colt leather into about 4-5 pieces(probably be another month tho) if anyone is interested.

How big is the yellow toadstool frag and what are you asking for it. I might be able to trade a frag of yellow devils hand for it.

How much and what kinds of mushrooms willie? How big is your tree frags?

Tree frags are medium to large, red mushrooms. yellow toadstool is also a nice size. They grow fast.

Mushrooms would be unattached. I also have xenias. I would sell the kenya tree, mushrooms and yellow toadstool for $75.00

Not to be rude, but that seems pretty outrageous for 3 soft coral frags.

I don't think its out rageous because I paid $20 for the first Kenya tree I got. The yellow toadstool is very nice size. You can't buy them at LFS for less than $60.00.

maybe i should sell my kenya and shroom frags for more than 5.00 a piece then they grow so fast and reproduce like mad so i am just happy to sell them cheap.

No, keep them at 5.00. The whole point IMO is to help out fellow reefers, and those that are just getting started. What would be the point of buying from somebody, if you are paying the same as fish store prices?
Nearly all of my pieces started out as either free frags, or very inexpensive frags. I have never spent more than $20 for any single piece of coral in my tank.

I agree with Chris. I believe one of the points of having a Marine Society is so that people in to the marine hobby can get together, share information and help each other out. It would seem to me that frag trades are common with most clubs. I dont think OMS members should be out to make money on fellow OMS members. Besides, even if you took your frags to a lfs you wouldn't be "making money."

i know what you mean and that is why I do sell them so cheap. i have a tank full, and have alot of extra frags that are taking up space. and I also figure if I sell them cheap to other reefers when the time comes that they will be fragging stuff i would want in my tank they will also give me a good deal back. also if my tank ever crashes i know where some of my frags went and most of them are willing to donate a frag back to get me started again.

I want the tree and mushrooms for right now willie, I someone else wants the toadstool let them have it. 75 gallons runs out of space fast lol.

So anyway how much for just tree and mushrooms and whens a good time to get them?

Ok Willie, nevermind. I was looking for a trade type situation. If I wanted to spend $75 bucks I would have gone down to Paridise Cove, they get most of my money anyway (lol). No hard feelings though.
