Anyone still use Miracle mud?

Started using it 2 months ago so too early to say much - but so far so good - happy with it so far

There are still people who swear by it. To me a good DSB is as good or better.

Mh- it is a product touted to be better than sand in the reef tank. Mainly a very fine sand cultured with marine bacteria and with a Website only too glad to tell you about their wonderous product and method. ;)

Yes I am using a skimmer - however good someone says something is you still have your own prejudice and I think a skimmer is one of the main items needed for a reef tank.

Its difficult for me to compare progress with the mud because last year I had a major **** up with my tank. I had a box fish that popped off and nearly took everything else with it. At the time i was running 2 canister filters. When all went tits up I decided to change whole set up. Am now running with a sump set up. What I have noticed is that everything seems much more stable (famous last words) but this could be due to bigger volume or many other things. I just hope it stays this way.

require a skimmer, I have both, You will be able to see the results in Coral Magazine comming soon, I have been asked to show results of a new tank with it, compared to a DSB unit with Plenum and skimmer, so should be interesting. also sorry about the double post and continuation my dog hit the keyboard,

I've been using it since Sept'05 and I also am pleased with it. I get excellent growth from all my corals and I also run a skimmer 24/7.
