Anyone still using frozen cyclopeeze?

I'm dying to get my hands on some frozen cyclopeeze again. The only place I can find to get some is to order it by the case from the manufacturer:

It doesn't seem like you can get the small freezer bars anymore. I'm considering ordering a case from the link above, but I'm concerned that it's the same stuff - the picture looks brown, not red.

Has anyone ordered frozen cyclopeeze from the link above and can confirm it's the same good old stuff?

Have you ordered the bulk case since the smaller freezer bars went off the market, or are you referring to the old freezer bars?

I was under the impression that cyclopeeze were not available, and that all the commercially available products were Calanus.

They just recently started selling frozen ones again. When I found them at my LFS I bought like 10.

The package looks like this now and they are shaped like little triangles in the packaging.

Snowman, are you getting it locally or from the link I posted above?

Bongo, your pack lists freezerbar.com, going to check out that site now.

I paid $17 for 1 blister pack (triangles) at my LFS. Not sure if it is too expensive as I only feed once a week.

That's expensive. I think I paid 15 and I actually liked the cyclopeze before. Use to be the size of a candy bar and I think it was around 9 dollars. I might switch to Rod's food next.

I know. I have paid $25 for a small pack of dried Cyclop-eeze on ebay. It's still half finished. However I do feel that after feeding this stuff, the colors on all fish seem to pop.

Agreed, I guess it really does come down to what the market will bare. :hmm5:

Well as you can see from my post above, I was willing to pay over $300 for a case of the stuff. Maybe I'll spread the word to the stores around here and see if some of them will get the new packs in.

Have you tried posting a group buy post in your local forums? Stuff like this should be easy to market :)
