Hey

Hey

The Bleached one on the overflow i have had for two months, the larger one with two mouths ive had for about a month.

The Smaller one was under t-5s first and then i finally got my led lights. The larger one has been under LEDs since i got it and has never shrunk down. The fixture is also on about 60 percent white and 80 blue. Its not even at full capacity.

I love the lights, this is the first time in about 14 years of reefkeeping that i actually had to leave my heater on 80 to keep the tank warm. The lights give off NO heat and i mean NO heat.

My one big difference between the LEDS and any other fixture i have had is that they give off the look of being underwater diving. It amazes me.

I keep getting lucky with finding healthy mags. Im actually trying to move the two off two new homes soon. They are healthy as can be.

How big a tank is that?

Well I have a Mag coming in on Thursday and am hoping it will live under my new LED lights. The lights I got are not specifically aquarium lights - they are for growing plants, but my father, who is an electrician, seems to think they will do well. I've had 3 BTA's under them for about 2 months now, and they are doing well.

Crossing my fingers on the Mag!

Be careful w/ some of those plant bulb lights, I've seen some that were pretty intense/strong, a lot more spotlighty, and some of those do get warm, and not meant to be for marine.
Maybe your father has a PAR meter and can shield it w/ glass, but I have no doubt those can grow corals.
You might even have to watch for bleaching at higher levels.
I had that eco panorama, and PAR was pretty strong high up, just lost intensity w/ depth.
No personal exp w/ AI
I'm sure a light needy nem that stayed high on rocks would be fine under LEDS
