Anyone switch away from Reef Crystals?

I just swiched to rc about a bucket ago. I did not have any problems, but form all of these reviews I dont want to chance it.

Are there any other good salts that you dont have to supplement your tank with. I was wondering if anyone has had any expierence kents salt, because that is another brand my lfs has.

Switch to oceanic salt mix, very high calcium close to 500 range and low alk 8-9 dkh. I switched from instant ocean and it definitely helps with calcium.

Why would you want that salt if it mixes a 500 ppm Ca? I'd rather have something around 420 ppm and 8-9 dKh.

FWIW ... I've been using Red Sea Coral Pro for a year or so. It mixes out at about 14dKh. I keep my tank at 10dKh, and have never had any issues with the weekly 10% WC's I do.

Just switched to ESV Salt and couldn't be happier. Mixes fast, well and everything in my take appears to love it. Zoa's look very healthier, mushrooms looking huger than ever and sps showing growth I'd never seen before.
