Anyone talked to Fuji?

Went into Fujis the other day & several of his reef tanks were emptied. He still had his large display tank, & the frag tank... as well as some of the sales tanks with fish, but lots of empties. I hadnt been there in months so was pretty surpised to see that. Is he changing the store around, or just slowly getting out of the reefing business?

The later is what he's implied to me. Only to sell dry goods. Guess the sushi business is booming. Shame, isn't it. But a guy's gotta pay the bills.

He's not going to set them back up. He said they were too hard to maintain. Still in the buss, but was going to cell mostly coral. I was in there today and he had some new frags.

Yeah, stopped by there about a week ago, was up that way. Got some fantastic sushi and seaweed salad! I think the dry goods and limited fish and coral along with the food he will do good.. I did miss his food!

I like the squid salad (Ika-sansia) at Sushi Atlantic better.

I guess I don't follow. Is he just carrying corals or does he still have fish, too?

He sells sushi for eating and then he also sells live animals for pets. I bet his delivery guys get real confused. If you think about it he sells the ultimate in raw fish.

Went there today. He said he was just cutting back how many display tanks he had so that he could keep up with them and with the sushi. Three walls full of tanks was too much. He feels like this will be better, and he will continue to carry livestock, just not as much.
