I just saw these at Marine Depot and wondered if they were any good. The price is very reasonable it would appear.

if your going down the LED route you should only look into ecotech's LEDs or AI's LEDs. You get what you pay for. if you cant afford it and crafty with your hands you can go the DIY route. but me personally i like the sleek factory look.

Replace AI with Ecoxotic and you are in business. Ecoxotic has a WAY better line up than AI does. You can add and subtract as needed and they have the entire spectrum covered, not just half of it.

Just my opinion on the matter. I got to see the Radion right next to an AI just this past weekend. AIs are very cold looking and miss a lot of colors that the Ecotech Radion really hit. I personally run all Ecoxotic stuff on my tank and love them.

I'm with you on the sleek factory look.

I'm probably going to go the LED controllable system route anyway when I get ready to do my 150 gallon.

I just saw these and wanted to get your opinions as something for a cheap non dimable LED strip.
