i noticed with joes if the nem eats it they stay dead. if you smother them with it, they are likey to return. my latest peppermint is the terminator. aips live in fear, until their short lives are ended.
I inject with a hypodermic needle strait into the mouth or body with the lemon juice and never see them again 100% of the time. After turning Vince (fatrip) on to this method he has also has had good luck with it as he has stated above. Never tried kalk or joes juice as this works so well for me and cheaper to.
When all else eventually failed for me, including berghia, I dropped in 2 dozen peppermint shrimp into my 120, cut back the feeding and in one week they were all gone and have'nt seen one since.
I have read many horror stories about peps like ripping corals apart to steal there food and eating the flesh off of some corals. Have you had any problems like this?
I'm not sure. I had introduced an australian elegance at the same time and I saw them picking at dead tissue on it as it died, but I don't know if it was dying on its own or they were killing it. Other than that I haven't had any problems that I am aware of.
Oh I almost forgot another method, silly me. Get em to retract into their holes and then superglue the little punks in there. That for sure works every time
