Anyone use AquaticLife Hybrid T5/LED fixture?

I have the reefbreeder Photon V2 lights. I'm looking for a little more coverage spread. Has anyone tried these Aquaticlife Hybrid? 4 T5 bulbs + my Photon.

I don't know the exact dimension of the center gap. The Photon is 47"x9". not sure if it'll fit perfectly inside? or would it even matter? a longer screw to hang it lower than the bracket?

Can’t help you on the fit. But it would be a great setup.

Reefbreeders actually sold those hybrids for use with the photon v2. I think the end brackets were wider or modified to accommodate but I could be wrong.

I have the DX18 with four Hydra 32HD's. I like the DX18 very well. Couple it with the Photon V2 and that should be quite the combination! However, the center gap is 7" as seen below. If it were wider, I would have mounted the Hydras perpendicular instead of parallel. They are 7 1\8" long. I'd call AquaticLife and ask if there are wider end pieces as @kharmaguru mentioned.

thanks guys! so i called a bunch of people and Aquatic Life. also BRS and Photons..

The Aquatic Life G1 or G2 none dimmable units fit. They can be taken apart and installed with the extra 24" bracket, 24" end caps and longer screws on the Photon. all these pieces are discontinued. But I did find them all on PremiumAquatics!

So I should have gotten a longer Aquaticlife T5 to fit the Photon.. brain fart right there. The 4ft Photon's cable won't fit the 4ft T5 kit..

so did some modding and drilling. made it fit.
other than that.. pretty clean piece.
