Hello,

I'm not exactly sure which forum would be best for this question. I am planning on macro in front and seagrass in back in tanks for Haddoni and clown only combo.

It will be tied together as part of a larger system (side tanks) shown here:

I want to put in a fair amount of sand (4 inches) for the carpets and seagrass, but not sure if this product can be mixed in with regular sand?

Or, if anyone has suggestions on the best combo of substrate for the carpet and seagrass combo I would love to hear it.

This would be the forum for the question. I have used Seaflor Special Grade with a haddoni and calurpa with great success but have no expeirence with seagrass.

Thanks tpd. I wasn't sure if I should ask in the macro and grass forum instead. The reason I wanted to mix the substrates is because this stuff is supposed to be for refugiums and only 2" thick.

I wasn't sure if mixing it with regular aragonite sand would do anything harmful or change the properties where seagrass or haddoni would not do well.

Anyone else have experience?
