I just added about 2 cups of this stuff to my 2.6gal nano. and now my Rose BTA is shriveling up and acting all weird...

Any one have any experience with this?

what salinity did you use to have your tank at? The nutri-seawater is at 1.026 so that may be a reason why. HTH and good luck with the BTA

HTH means, Hope That Helps - but saying that you keep it right aroun 1.02 is not a very good description becuase a jump from 1.021 to 1.026 is huge for fish, that said, even going from a SG of 1.024 to 1.026 that quick is a big change. Changing SG should be done over a long period of time.

actually nutri-sea can vary greatly in salinity and other parameters from jug to jug. I've seen as high as 1.03 SG in a jug before and found high lvls of nitrate and phosphate. I don't recommend using it unless it is part of a massive water change where it comprises a fraction of the water being replaced. It depends on the conditions at the time of collection.

Interesting... I bought it cause the LFS guy was raving aobut it, but is seemed kinda sketchy, like he was just trying to sell it...

I dont think I will buy it again, unless I start to hear some positive feedback about it...
