Anyone use these cheap digital timers?

I picked one of these up from Harbor Freight yesterday. It has two grounded outlets that can be set to different on/off times for each day of the week.

If this thing lasts a year, that's $8.99 well-spent!

Not that brand.. I got mine from Lowe's.

Been running them for over 3 years with no problems.

The one's I have only have one out-let though.

Me too, one outlet timers, one from lowes and three from ebay, all under 12 bucks. Work fine for turning on my lights. Just make sure you get one rated high enough for the load you are plugging into it. They all are rated, most list it on the back of the timer.

I use these intermatic digital timers from home depot, they were 19.99 each and are pretty user friendly. They are an outdoor timer for hot tubs/spas...

I've got a pair of the intermatic as well. Since they are outdoor timers, I figured they would be okay if they got splashed once or twice. They are pretty heavy duty too. They each have two outlets (both outlets work on one timer though), but you can have lights and a fan turn on at the same time.

Those look like mine from chapion or hamilton can't remember..however I have them running my halides, vho, fuge, frag lighting for 3 YEARS now with NO problems.. only adjustments i have made were for Daylight savingsg time adjustments

These look like what I'm looking for! My problem is that all my timer controls take up way too much room on the power strips. Now to my questions!

The light plugs into the timer and then the timer is plugged into the power strip, is this correct? Can you have multiple timers on one power strip?
