Anyone used the majano wand?

I have some large aiptasia that I can not get to to use X due to the depth of my tank and these guys being on large rock that is not coming out. I've tried every possible option of natural livestock with no luck. So, I'm wondering about these wands. Anyone have personal experience?

I have one that I let sgammon1 borrow. Those things are a lot of fun. They just melt those suckers away. The only problem with them is that it won't get the ones where the base of the aptasia is under a rock or ledge. The wand doesn't bend to get under the rock.

IMO/E... It is a waste of $, useless... If you Borrow/rent 1 first, you won't want to purchase it!
Even if you could reach most aiptasia (which you can't) it takes so much time to 'completely' zap every single cell of it, that they will return almost immediately!

Caribbean Peppermint shrimp and/or file fish are the way to go

I made my own and it works but no better than paste. You still have to get all of it or they multiply and return. It does need to be straight in access for the needle to get to it as per previous post. I went back to paste that can cover the whole aiptasia.

You have to get the one that grazes on the rock from the store. When you get it home, place it in a tank of its own and offer a rock full of Aptasia. Don't feed it anything. It will LEARN to eat Aptasia out of hunger or perish. My 300 gallon has way less Aptasia than before because of the ccb. I don't even notice it anymore. If you have time watch smac's video on YouTube by kraylen. He is from salinas. Watch carefully and you will see so much Aptasia in the base of the corals. With a full blown reef tank you will never be able to reach those areas with anything including a kalk syringe. The corals will cover the rock. Also if you want less Aptasia in the display, use less rock. Most Aptasia settles on the rock and not the coral.

Yeah, I've heard the solo tank/no feed theory. Maybe I'll give it a shot. But, if I do it's the last cbb I try lol. I wonder how the wand would do on red mushrooms, I have a bazillion. The things are like cockroaches.

The ones that go in a hole is actually easiest to eradicate since they have no where to go. In the hole situation, use a kalk slurry and inject it in the hole with a syringe until it fills the hole. Aptasia is gone for good.
