Anyone used these LED Bulbs?

I always get a kick out of reading ebay ads. If this is the description from the company that makes them, do you get a feeling that they understand coral and what is required to keep a reef tank happy?

This specialized LED aquarium light, which is dual light blended, dimmable and high efficiency, will give optimal light to your coral reefs tank. 440mn~460mn blue light and 8000~10000K white light promotes the photosynthesis to accelerate the aquatic growth, and makes the aquatic vivid in the water. Compared to HPS/MH lights, LED light saves much more energy

I don't get that feeling.

Honestly it seems the biggest problem with LEDs is the color, finding a color you like is not guaranteed even when buying a name brand from a reputable dealer. So that may or may not have a color you like the look of, its really a total crapshoot.

The only issue I have seen involving growth is not enough light and possibly red LEDs slowing coral growth. It doesnt appear that red will be a problem there. That being said that is a 12 watt "bulb" with 12 LEDs, so you are looking at 12 1 watt LEDs for 55 bucks.... Unless all you need is a single "bulb" for a sump/nano its not really a good deal, and dont expect a ton of penetration even then.

But in the end if I was doing a cheap round or hex 3-5 gallon nano, I might go for it.
