Anyone used this before ???

I'm thinking about removing the bio pellets from my 120 gallon reef and replace it with another form of carbon dosing. My nitrates stay around 1 to 2 ppm and I want to keep it that way. The reason why I'm thinking about changeing the bio-pellets is that I'm starting to notice some cyano.

I was thinking about using one made by Tailored Aquarium Products (link below). I was just wondering if anyone here has any experiance using this product.

There's not enough information in the product description to be able to say much. It's likely some form of carbon dosing.
