Anyone using a tunze wavebox?

I had considered getting one of these, but since my tank is only 75G I decided on the new VorTech to place on the opposite side of the tank from my Tunze 6000. I got a nice deal on the Vortech..... $35.00 off the price. I have been curious about the wavebox performance also. Would like to hear others comments on this product.

I currently have 2 Tunze 6000's in the tank, but like the idea of the wavebox in addition to keep all the detritus in suspension.

I have seen several Waveboxes in action and was thoroughly impressed! Unfortunately, none of the ones I have seen were around here.

Steve, what size tanks did you see one on? I am thinking of putting one on my 75g SPS tank but am worried that the tank might be too small for one of these. Another worry is that I have my overflows on the left back of the tank and am not sure the water would drain correctly with the wave.

They were all 200 gallons or more.

The one annoying thing is the Wavebox and overflows. The water splashes over/into them with every wave and makes noise.

Yeah, that is a concern since this tank is in my gameroom. Had I thought ahead, I would have put the overflows in the middle. I am going to have to see one of these in person before dropping $500. Maybe at MACNA in 2007!!
