Anyone using hamiltons Belize Sun MH/T5 Unit

Thinking about purchasing this light for my 48LX24WX31H. Any feedback will be appreciated. Will be SPS/LPS mix reef.

do you like it? is it noisey? the one I'm looking at is the 2x250 HQI and 4 65 watt t5's. Does it look nice? the picture makes it look really good.

Im very happy with the build,quality and style. As far as it being loud? Well you can hear the fans. This unit has 2 fans so it will be a bit louder lets say compared to my previous Orbit 150watt HQI with 2 65watt pcs which only had one fan..btw, pay the extra money and opt for the Ice Cap electronic ballasts..

I plan to get the electronic ballast 2x 250 HQI 14K, WITH 4 65 WATT T5'S. Did you get the electronic ballast? does it put out alot of heat?

Yeah I got the Ice Caps. The ballast doesnt get that hot. I mean you can put your hand on top of the ballast and it wont burn you.. I didnt check but does the 2 250watt model come with standing legs?

Ethan at hamilton told me they did and the hanging kit also. But it will be mounted on top of the tank. looking at yours I like it more and more.

Thats cool. In the future when I do upgrade to a bigger reef tank. Im gonna get that same system your getting..
I really like those legs though, they are longer compared to the Orbit fixture I had, and my water temperature is now 1.5 degrees cooler since the light isnt kissing the water. Not to mention no more water,salt buildup on the lenses..

I also have the outer orbit pro 150 watt, and the legs are to short. its on my 55 short.

Ethan at hamilton told me the fixture I want[2x250 watt HQI and 4 65 watt t5 active cooling and moon lights also has drop down flanges to help direct light in the tank]you don't have to use the flanges]is $1000 shipped.
