Anyone using LRS? Larrys fish frenzy food

I'm going to pick up some larrys fish food tomorrow and wanted to know some of your opinions on it and if you use it. From what I've read so far, most people like it better than rods food (which I currently use, but I'm almost out) saying its "cleaner and more fresh, and that the fish go crazy for it..." Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I can tell you that Rods was the only frozen food I would put in any of my past tanks. I would mix it with oyster feast and phyto and feed with a long baster type feeder. I would target feed a few things but for the most part just squirt it into the water column. I always had great results with it and both corals and fish tore it up. I just recently decided to try Larrys with my new tank and the main differences I see are as follows; Rods seems to be more dense and has a lot of tiny food but the larger pieces are on the big side. Larrys seemed to be more ground up and didn't have huge chunks like I sometimes found in Rods. Larrys left the water basically clear a few minutes after feeding where I found Rods was loaded with tiny particles that remains in the water column a bit longer. All in all I really like them both and will probably stick with Larrys until my tank is further stocked then possibly switch back to Rods. I feel like using Rods even in small amounts would leave a lot of excess particles to rot away in a lightly stocked tank. Hope this makes sense.

I know exactly what you mean by the extra particles in the tank with using rods. I really appreciate the in depth review and it made sense to me. I never had a problem using the rods food, but since I'm about out I figured I'd give LRS a go. I'm picking some up tomorrow so I will let everyone know how the fish like it.

Been using LRS for 2+yrs. I feed nothing else. No flake, no pellets nadda. It's even better now with the added Black Worms [emoji106]

Is LRS chunkier like Rogger's? Or more fine like Rod's? I do like that black worms were added recently & makes me want to try.

Even with just a few fish, I think diversity is great. A lil bit of Rod's goes into each fish food batch. Fish/Corals are happy the food concoction I add.

Larry's in my mind is chunkier. I've had nothing but luck with LRS....and my Conspic loves it.

Hey when you can get a wild caught personatus to eat it says something.
