Anyone using magnetic algae cleaner other than Magfloat on Glass?

I have a magfloat 350 and it doesn't do a very good job on my 180.

Is anyone using one of the more expensive magnet cleaners (magnavore/Algae Free)?

Ray the scraper that you can glue onto the mag float is really good.

My buddy (PhillipOSU) just picked up the Magnavore from SaltyCritter for his 220 and loves it. I'm not sure which model he purchased though.

I just could never justify the $60-$80 price tag on them, but after his reviews, I'm planning on biting the bullet and purchasing one once I am able to set up a large tank again.
