Anyone using photon v2?

I am setting up a frag tank and am I wanting to try the photon v2. The frag tank will be strictly sps coral. I have always used t5 in the past and had good success but wanted to try using led for the first time, which does have me nervous.

Is anyone using this light as the ONLY light for their sps tank?

You should check out this thread. I think there are some there that grow sps with that light. I got my V2 not long ago but still setting up my tank so no review yet

I agree - good choice. IMO, the best that you could have ever hoped for was about 70% of what the ATI will get you. Yes, it would have grown some. Yes, some individual species might have looked good. No, it never would have the same breath or depth of success as other lights.

Adam at Battlecorals uses the photon v2 exclusively for led on his prop systems.

He doesn't, at least not anymore. In the photos he post and the drawings of his place, they are staggered between metal halides.

Yeah - I didn't mean he used led exclusively I meant that that's what he uses for leds exclusively
