Anyone Using the Neptune DOS Pump for Ca Reactor?

I'm thinking of setting up a calcium reactor for a smallish tank (50g). It's certainly not totally necessary (keeping up with 2-part is fairly easy), but my purpose is to gain experience with it since there will soon be a 200g or so tank setting next to it.

Since I'm willing to exchange $$$ for ease-of-use and reliability, I'd like to use a metering pump for the reactor output rather than a needle valve. Another concession is a true 2-stage regulator to avoid end-of-tank pressure spikes. At this point, my intent is the Vertex 6D reactor.

There's lots of options for the pump, including getting a used masterflex peristaltic pump, a kamoer continuous duty PP, a liter meter, or even a true chemical metering pump.

But, since I've already got a neptune DOS pump for 2-part additions to this tank, I'm thinking I might be able to use it for dosing from the Ca reactor. I'm aware this would be undesirable for higher flow rates because the dang thing is just too noisy, but on a tank like this, a mL per minute would be about the maximum flowrate, so it shouldn't be too obnoxious.

Has anyone tried to use the DOS pump in this manner? I've looked at Neptunes site to see if I could figure out whether the pump can be used in a continuous manner like this, but haven't found anything explicit in the do/do not category.

Also, if anyone wants to chime in on their experience with the kamoer dosing pump (or any other aspects of selecting Ca reactors, media, operation, etc..), I'm all ears.
