for helping..also Jermey.. you went above and beyond.. thank you.. I do have a follow up question. since i only have a 46 gallon tank.. and I change roughly 10% per week which is 5 gallons or so, I only have a need for estimate of 30 gallons or so per month... am i better off making 5 gallons once per week, or just once per month making 30 gallons and just keep the water in the jugs for the month? whats better in the long run for the filters? thanks, Pete

I would make just the 5 gallons per week. DI water degrades as it sits. We do have a special unit that prevents this from happening. It is an add on unit so there is no need to buy a new system. It is priced at 209.99 but it keeps your DI at 18.2 Mohms. This would pertain to individuals that make a lot of water and use it over time, or if you have water made for automatic top-off stored for periods of time.
