oh well bad luck for me.. I got out of the hobby about 6 years ago. my kid likes fish so I did some research and bought an established 125 acrylic. for the most part I could tell it was setup all wrong. the return pump does about 200 gph and there is a canister filter and wet dry filter but it did have some assets. about 150lbs of nice looking live rock, he stand is very nice and oak, there is an chiller and it had 2 metal halide / t5 combo lights and a turbo floater. well i knew I needed to replace the tank (got a 100 gal glass) and would dump the canister and w/d but would need a decent return pump and a aquacontroler Jr with a calcium reactor, eventually I would upgrade the skimmer to an asm g3
i was not planning on replacing the lights... I have not read the whole thread but has anyone tried using icecap ballasts with these or do i just need to junk the whole setup and start from scratch?
