Anyone using two smaller pumps for returns from their sumps?

Anyone using two smaller pumps for returns from their sumps to their 180 or 210 tanks? I have a 75 gallon tank now, with a Quiet One 3000 as my return pump. I was considering buying another QO3000 and using both in the sump as my returns in my new 210 tank. They each use 40 watts, while the QO 6000 uses 140 watts. Does this sound like a good idea?

I use two emiem 1260 in a 220. lots of flow and everything works if one pump fails

Im using 2 Iwaki 20 RLXT for classic returns plus an Iwaki 30 RLT through my 90 gallon fuge into the 210 display. I get plenty of circulation with this setup.
