Anyone using WAVEMAKER with mechanical timer?

I need feedback for those who are using wavemaker with mechanical timer? Is your wavemaker still alive? like how many months? Thanks

Are you going to use the timer for hours off then hours on?

Just from what I've seen in my tank I would just caution against that. When I turn off my mp40 to clean my tank, I sometimes see my 6 line wrasse swimming around in it... I've also seen snails get into the inside of it when I leave it off for the night. I would just make sure nothing can get into it since you might not be around when it turns back on.

No, i am going to use it to get an alternate on and off for about 5 minutes maybe.?
