Hey So Cal Peeps,
After a brutal winter and spring on my system due to automation issues, my system is stable and coming back to being happy again. Even with a month of 100 degree weather - corals are doing well.
I have a couple of projects going on.
1) I need some help going through several hundred frags. Fragging some down, cleaning dead tips, mounting the unmounted. etc etc
I'm happy to host a little evening (too hot during the day to keep the corals out of water this month). I'll provide beverages and snacks. We can hang out, frag, glue, shmooze.
As always if you do me a favor you won't leave empty handed. You will clearly get frags of all the stuff we play with.
2) My new filtration system is getting ready to go online. Hopefully before the end of the month I am going to be tearing down the tomato bin that's out in the back yard.
a) Does anyone want a used tomato bin (free)
b) 2+ walls of the tomato bin are covered in yellow xenia polyps -- this is literally square feet of filtration, anyone want to come harvest them?
c) The bin has 600+ lbs of fully mature live rock. I think it's healthy to keep up as much biodiversity as possible. Anyone wanna trade live rock from system to system? Most of my rock is football size or bigger
d) I would also love to trade rock (or anything else) for some giant slab rock for my new tank. Looking for flat rock bigger than a large pizza. Let me know if you have some lying around and want to work out a trade for anything at all.
Located in Encino, my schedule is flexible.
