cool stuff, i have a good bunch growing in my tank, I'll let you guys know when it grows big enough to start giving away. When i bought my tank about 2 months ago i got a rock with lot of it growing on it, but it was white back then. Now it seems to be doing good , its all nice and green.

Is yours the large plate type, or the small plate? I've got both & I prefer the small type, but that's just me. :) The bunches I'm selling now are the small type, as I hope the pics show.

It will turn white when the lights are off, but greens up when the lights are on. It also turns white when it is stressed, so the fact that yours has greened up is a good thing. Pros & cons of having it in the display: Halimeda is not usually eaten by herbivores, but it does use calcium. It isn't invasive, binds nitrate & phosphate, and looks cool.

Mine looks just like the pic you posted H20Sidhe, i've had mine for about 3 months now, i was surprised how well this can grow and attach to the rocks.

Doug,

If I have enough, and if my plans to attend the meeting don't get pre-empted, I'll bring you some.
