Alex, let's roll with RTPs. There aren't too many diseaes, and most are triggered by a pest (fungus, algae, bacteria, etc).

I've seen more acroflatties on aquaculture than wild. I think most of the high end coral folks trade amongst each other quite a bit, but unfortunately, there isn't that much you can trade. Purple Monster doesn't exactly take over a tank like GSP.

I wish you would have posted this earlier, we just unloaded a grip of low maintenance corals recently from John's tank.

hey guys..just bringing this one back up. ive been busy the few weeks and was only able to meet up with norman(mr ugly).
anyone going to the frag swap and willing to bring the corals with you?
im not a bar member so will there be an issue for non members attending? i havent been to one of these functions so im speaking out of ignorance.
also, let me know if the corals came out of a tank with nasties(i.e flatworms, nudis, etc).

As far as I know, yes... all corals that have been in my tank were lugols dipped about 1 month ago....

and what ever corals added have also been lugols dipped as well.
