Happy Valentine's Day everyone! :)

I currently have a 29g Eclipse tank and I am changing the lighting and filtration. I am looking to purchase the Coralife Lunar Aqualight Deluxe Double lighting fixture 30", here:

http://www.marinedepot.com/aquarium...unar_aqualight_plus_deluxe_linear.asp?CartId=

I would like to know if anyone who has this lighting fixture could give me detailed measurements so I can determine if it will fit in my current Eclipse hood with some modifications.

Thank you :)

I am running a 48" 4x65Watt coralife power compact on my 55 gal and like it, but I am getting ready to change to the coralife aqualight pro for the use of metal halide.

The best way to go is to just ditch the Eclipse hood. It is possible to retrofit the 2x65W lights into it, but seems more trouble than it is worth. There was a post on here a while back that showed how someone had retrofit the bulbs into there eclipse hood. I had the same set-up, but the only thing that I still use is the tank. I tossed everything else. You will definitely have serious heat issues if you try to put the fixture under the Eclipse hood.

I just bought the 24" 2x65 watt (hellolights.com) and I must say I love it, but I don't think that I'd want to retrofit into anything. its really slim and streamlined, and compliments my aquarium nicely...

now I just gotta get it off of the tank, onto those legs... HA. don't think I'm going to do it, although its recommended!!!

the hood for mine does come with fans-turn on only when the 10000k light is on, not the actinic. I like them, and so far my corals are really coming around. you can also order a blue led light for night (at least, from hellolights you can) and various other accessories. I highly recommend it, and also recommend ditching the eclipse-yeah, it has a filter, but in a reef tank, that filter may not be what you want...

Thanks for the advice everyone, and I saw the measurements on the marinedepot site but I was looking for very precise measurements so I can see if it will fit in a modified eclipse hood.

You will not be dissapointed with the Coralife 30" deluxe. I've had
that model for about 3 months and love it. You don't know how cool the two LED lights are until you see it!!!!
