Anything special to know about CC coral?

I just recently added a small CC coral to my tank and i love the way it looks. I did some research on it and i seem to find the same information everywhere i go, so i was just wondering if theres anything extra i should know. Any one have any experiences they could share, or tips for quicker growth, feeding techniques, food types (besides plankton and brine shrimp). Thanks for any advice.

Makes more sense.. thanks...

A relatively easy coral to care for. Though they're tolerant of a pretty wide range of light, mine have always opened up and grown best under somewhat subdued light. My best colony is under halides, but entirely shaded by a large Sinularia; it looks much better under this filtered light than it ever did out in 'full sun'. Doesnt seem to like strong current.

If you want fast growth, feed liberally. Mine will take any chopped seafood I throw in there. Ive tried: Mysis, Brine, small pellets, Cod, Salmon Roe, chopped Shrimp, Scallops, finely chopped Silversides, Krill, even Octopus. They aren't picky, and will eat a lot. Feed daily if you want- a healthy colony will always accept more food. I always suck up food with a turkey baster and gently squirt it into their open tentacles.

Sometimes you can get them to open during the day by squirting some food juice near them and then waiting a little while.
