Anything stronger than 6100 in the works?

I was thinking about getting two stream 6100's with the multicontroller for my 400 gallon tank (10' long). But I read in some other thread the water effectively only pushes for about 6-8'. I would like to get enough water movement throughout the whole tank (mostly SPS). My question: Do I have to get 4 pumps or are there more powerfull pumps on the horizon?

Depends how long you can wait. I have a beta testing Stream 6200 on my desk right now. I haven't hooked it up yet as I had to make some modifications that I just completed today, the final production parts came in and what I had was hand made and really just to examine the design concept. The outlet is up to 2.25" and the flow is 5000+gph. The pump is actually physically the same size and it is controllable. It is still a few months away. My guess is it will be ready in January. I predict the flow will carry about 10ft and be more spread due to the larger outlet. I plan to hook it up later this week on an 8ft aquarium.
