Everyone is talking about this device, I would like to know exactly how it functions. A descriptive explanation of diagram would be helpful. Thanks

There isn't much to say. Take a rectangular box that is vertical. the top can breath. A stream is mounted in the bottom. Then pulse the stream. At the right frequency it causes a wave to be generated in the tank. I dunno exactly why the box is needed, but for some reason it is. I also do know that you don't need extension boxes per se, you can use slaved streams.

is it worth the money.I looked at buying 2 turbelles(smallest ones) pluse the good controller it costs as much as the wave box.The wave box you only need 1 unit and it can do large tanks.I noticed you have an extentsion. What is that

The extension is a second wavebox that is slaved to the same controller. Needed for larger tanks.

The wavebox cannot be run in place of powerheads/streams. You will still need more waterflow with the wavebox.

The water surges up and down inside the box, but in the tank it generates a back and forth (left/right) rocking motion.
