Thanks and the tank has been up for 9 weeks now but still having a bit of problem maintaining PH at 8.3. It tends to stay at 8.0-8.1 even adding reef buffer. Ammonia & nitrite been near 0 but nitrate has been high bet. 30-40 and I've been doing wc twice a week with 2.5g each time to bring it down. I've to get one of those smaller gravel vacuum to clean the substrate as the one I have is too big and sucks up all the sand. I'd a lawnmower in about 2 weeks now and I haven't seen it since it went in and not sure if that's the cause. Other than that everything else been accounted for.

Finally got the tool today from Sears and will try to take out the mantis after it got one of mine coral banded shrimp. I saw the left over claw sticking out from one of the rock's tunnel and I was trying to take it out with a pair of chopstick so I didn't have to put my hand it the tank but the mantis was very strong and pull it away into the small tunnel. Now I know why people don't want to go near a mantis.

Anyway, after all the die offs in the first week of each shippment the dube and cup corals on the rocks are all doing fine and even the big patch of dark orange sponge on one of rock from week 1 is doing great.

How's your tank coming along? Put up some pictures when you have time.

I agree it was kind of quick in adding so many in shuch a short time. I've been lucky not have have much die-offs from the 60lbs of tbs rocks (&25lbs of LS) and adding sm doses of Seachem Stability. I'm collecting much from the skimmer now as I've been very careful on not overfeeding and leaving food on the substrate. All the filters are on this tank and don't really have any where to to as the the quarantine tank is used for curing LRs for the future tank.

Between 2 filters, potein skimmer and one powerhead I've about 1,000 gph flow and I've been testing the water parameter 3-4X per week. I greatly appreciate your concern and suggestion and will keep a very close eye on them.
