Ap sapphire skimmer

So I just recieved my new skimmer and went about setting it up. It looks great but I can not seem to figure out how to keep it from getting fully submerged with out emptying about 1/4 of my tank water. Anyone using this skimmer and have suggestions?

I just received mine last week as well and had the same problem.

Kyle at Sapphire suggested that I cut a piece of milk jug to act as an additional weir; this suggestion was fast and easy to implement... and best of all... works.

Using the makeshift weir the water level dropped in the rear chambers while staying up in the display. With just a tiny bit of adjustment I was able to get it steady and now it is skimming.

As I understand it, there will be a small piece of acrylic coming that will take the place of the milk jug.
