I have some apaistia in between my new Zoa's what should I do to get rid of them. Some kind of shrimp? frag them off the rock and kill the pest? Any suggestions

joe's juice, kalk or sodium hydroxide. Use a 1ml syringe (with the tip that you get in Calcium/Alkalinity test kits for accurate nuking)

Just be careful when you do it, so you don't over squirt the Joe's Juice onto your zoos. If you have a bunch of aptasia or if they're really nice zoos you might be better off getting a few peppermint shrimp. They take a couple weeks to get around to it, but they will eat up the aptasia.

I had the same thing a few months ago. Mine was too small to inject with liquid calcium, Joe's Juice, Kalk or any of the many remodies. I initially pulled the piece of LR out, let everything retract and used frag glue to try and seal over the Aptasia. Didn't work. After many failed attempts, I had to remove the LR, cut through it with the dremmel and frag the colony into two pieces with the affect piece and some ZOAs tossed. Not the ideal way to handle it, but haven't seen one since.

its the only aptasia I have in the system and only two heads of it I don't know what I'm going to end up doing. I can't do any of the remedies without hurting the zoas. I would like a little more life in the tank anyways I guess its time for a peppermint shrimp. Will it get in even though it is in the zoas?

if its on a frag, make the polyps close up to figure where the Aipts hide out is, then superglue the hole shut.

Use aptasia X. Comes with a syringe, just ease up to them and give a small squirt in their mouth and they instantly implode.

I have used a bamboo skewer with the tip dipped in Mrs. Wage's lime. Insert the tip, twist and pull. The aptasia will slime up and attach to the tip.

May be an more meth than reality, but I've heard/read too many times that there is a strong possibility that when trying to kill aptasias, you should be successful on the first attempt -or- they go into "survival mode" and start throwing off piece that grow new aiptasias in different locations. My sole reefing budy has a fairly large one in his tank that bugs the living crap out of me. Everytime I visit, I remark that it's still there. He indicates that he let them grow unitl they are large enough that he can inject them with a syringe. Hard to do on the tiny ones.

Again, not sure if the above is hype or not, but something to consider.

Aptasia can be a huge hassle with zoas. What I do when I have a piece in my zoas/palys is I take a needle serenge and direct feed pure calcium into it. It kills the aptasia and the zoas are strong enough to survive the surrounding calicium.
