Apex and AquaNotes...

Just got my Apex today. Was surprised to find no software in the box.

Is AquaNotes for all of the Neptune controllers?

Is it a separate purchase?

AquaNotes is an old PC software for th AC2 and before; it will not work with the Apex. There is a replacement in the works but much of what Aquanotes did the built-in web interfaces of the Apex handle already.

I'm still waiting for the iPad version of AquaNotes... not the iPhone version that you can blow up to 2x....

You have to hook up your Apex to router and follow instructions. Like Kenargo mentioned, you can program Apex that way without buying sofeware. Or you can program Apex using the display, but much easier using web-based interface.
I just got my Apex last week and have mucho to learn.
