Mine when ever the power resets it doesn't revert either.
It'll re-enable DHCP and not follow the static IP settings I've configured it for.
What does help is, if it goes from Static to DHCP, remove the USB that connects to the EB8 to reset the device. Remove the Display USB Simultaneously.
Reconnect the EB8 USB first, let all status lights turn green, then plug in the USB Display.
I'd have to do this at least 2-3 times a month, really not sure what the problem is, even though I have no power outage. The device just crashes on its own.
