Apex and power outage

My apex is reverting to a previous save state when it loses power. I can't seem to get ti to save the current network settings. Anyone else ever ran into this problem? I tried using the latest firmware still no dice.

Thanks

Which network settings are changing? If DHCP is enabled, then IP address can change. What about your program settings? Are they changing back to defaults?

Mine when ever the power resets it doesn't revert either.

It'll re-enable DHCP and not follow the static IP settings I've configured it for.

What does help is, if it goes from Static to DHCP, remove the USB that connects to the EB8 to reset the device. Remove the Display USB Simultaneously.

Reconnect the EB8 USB first, let all status lights turn green, then plug in the USB Display.

I'd have to do this at least 2-3 times a month, really not sure what the problem is, even though I have no power outage. The device just crashes on its own.

Losing its settings is not proper behavior. Is it just the network settings that get lost?

As a test, can you turn off auto update on your clock then observe whether the clock preserves the proper time across these power failures?

Yeah it reverts back to the previous owner's email and network settings. I have to re-enter all my network settings and email settings everytime i unplug the device. According to Neptune they asked me to keep the device powered on for an hour and see if the settings gets saved.
