Apex base problems HEELLP

Hello, everyone, when i was trying to upgrade my apex base module to conect a vdm module, i had a lot of problems. First I coldn't install the vdm module, my apex never recocniged it. i had always a yellow blinking light on the vdm module. after trying to upgrading again the base module i had a problem with the wireless conection so in the middle of the process the router when down. since that moment nothing it is working now. my apex base module has a yellow blinking light and the same it is hapenning to my eb8. I have a pm1, pm2, vdm, and two eb8 and nothing it's working now :furious::thumbdown. Pleeese help my to do a hard reset to my apex or something like that. i have tried to conect my apex with a ethernet cable but i couldn't conect, i have a green and a yellow light on the ethernet port and a blinking yellow status light on my apex module. Thanks for your help, and sorry for my english i'm a spanish speaker and new in this hobbie.

Updating formware should not have been tried via wireless but it can be recovered from easy enough.

You can connect the PM directly to the Apex but in order to have this work you will need to change the PC IP connection to be static IP; use an address like 192.168.1.10. Then rerun the updater and it should upload to the Apex. if the Apex's status LED isn't flashing then wait until the uploader starts to count connection retries, then power cycle the Apex; it should start in loader mode and the upload should start.

I won't be online until tomorrow but I'll check 1st thing to see how you got along.

Thanks Ken now my apex module it's working fine. The only thing that isn't working yet it's the vdm module. I don't know why my apex doesn't recognize it :worried:. After the upgrading process the status light of the vdm is still blinking yellow. Thanks again

What version of firmware are you running and depending on when you got the VDM you may need to update its firmware using the modules screen.

The firmware is 4.04_2b11, and I got the vdm module in November 2010, on the back of the vdm has a number 1369. Sometimes the status light change to blinking yellow but the apex still not recognize it.

Have you tried updating the VDM firmware; just to be sure it also is up to date? Does the VDM module appear in the modules screen?

I can't updated the vdm module because it is not recognize by the base module. :sad2:

Hello, I'm still having problems with the vdm module, can someone tell what to do. The vdm status light is almost always blinking yellow and sometimes turn to green, I try with a different cable bus but nothing happens.
