I set mine up last Sunday and after a few hours and some extreme profanity I have it running great. The easiest way to program it is to set it up through your router and that way you can program it all from the internet and it is so much easier than useing the menus on the display.
You have to change the IP address of the Apex and then have your router forward that address to your network. It's not too hard. The Apex comes preloaded with programs it thinks people can use, most of which are helpful but you need to plug your lights, pumps, heater, fans/chiller into certain oulets in order to use the preset timers, wavemakers and temperature control.
I'll be home all weekend if you want to stop out and I'll run you through it. Just shoot me a PM
