Apex EB832 Failure

last night after rebooting my apex fusion due to a wifi issue i noticed that my CO2 was off even though the unit was indicating that it was on. 7 of the 8 available power outlets were working but not the one with the CO2 solenoid. even overriding the auto setting and turning the 8th outlet to "on" didn't work. after a firmware update was performed all 8 outlets failed.

upon plugging the apex fusion unit in, the pumps and other equipment can be heard starting for a split second, then nothing. meanwhile the unit is sending out information indicating all outlets are running per the pre-programmed specifications.

i was forced to unplug everything and use a standard power strip until i can get the unit working.

has anyone experienced this?

thanks

I would check to see if the circuit breaker on the back tripped..it would be pushed up.

If that doesn't work, then try updating the EB832 firmware

thanks, i have a hard time accessing the back of the unit based on where it was mounted. i did take it off the mount and felt the reset button but i was trying to push it in, not up and down. maybe i failed to properly reset it, i'll try later when i get home.

Go to the modules status page. In the firmware column, does it say "Old"? Either way, as mentioned above, I would update the firmware on the EB832. The latest Apex firmware update requires updating the EB832. It's in the firmware update instructions or was in one of the most recent updates. If the EB832 firmware is isnt update, the EB832 will not work.

Firmware says 5.00_8B16

That is not the EB832 firmware. Log into Fusion or the default web interface and click the modules tab. The update the firmware on the EB832.

Go to the 2 minute mark of this video for instructions on how to update the EB32.
